Sometimes I’m shamefully slow getting hip to real good music. Be good to yourself and if you haven’t already please explore the glorious voice of Gregory Porter. How many men have dared to sing “God Bless the Child” (help here, really, are there others?) and acapella? My my my. WRTI in Philly was playing Porter’s “Be Good” the day after the election and I thought, that’s my theme for the second term, be good, Barack, do more good…let us move to a place where we truly feel like our country is in real good hands.
